Shree laxmi group was started by Mr. Vinod Banthia in 1975 as an small textile agency house with the name of m/s hanuman mal banthia. With time and grace of god textile trading business was established. Trading was mainly done in viscose,nylon and polyester fabrics used in indian sarees, suits and dupattas. In 1990's shree laxmi automobile's , a retail car accesories business was started giving birth to " shree laxmi ' name to the group businesses. A major turn around came in the life cycle when in 1997 manufacturing of polyester velvet fabric was started. This fabric was used as upholstry of car seat covers. Shree laxmi textiles was business name then. In june 10, 2002 Shree laxmi fashions was incorporated. In 2007 Shree laxmi creations was started with garment fabrics and embroideries as there main products of sales. In 2009 major expantion took place and flock velvet production was started by name of Shree laxmi creation pvt ltd. which later was converted to full fledged dying and printing mill along with velvet production plant. In 2017 group entered in indian ethnic wear manufacturing business with brand name as PURE 9 and company name as Shree laxmi lifestyles. In 2019 company started manufacturing active wear fabrics and has its sister firms and offices in Delhi and Tiruppur.

Currently group is managed by Mr. Vinod Banthia and his three sons, Sriyans , Jinendra, and Ajit. Group is engaged in manufacturing, trading and exports of velvet products, garment fabrics, embroidery fabrics, saree fabrics and indian ethnic wear. Company's annual turnover crossed 5 million dollars in 2020 with group's turnover crossing 11 million dollars.
